Our LPN/LVN Supervisors have been called to care when they’re needed most. As a member of the Interim HealthCare team, you’ll provide oversight of the care/services furnished by employees to Interim Healthcare patients and clients. You will collaborate with the Director of Health Care Services (DHCS) to develop and implement processes to ensure the efficient and effective achievement of patient/clinical outcomes is in accordance with the patient’s plan of care and Interim HealthCare policies and procedures.

As an LPN/LVN Supervisor you will: ?
• Supervises, evaluates, motivates, and develops professional and paraprofessional employees.
• Uses clinical decision-making to provide oversight and guidance to the healthcare team to manage the assigned patient population efficiently and effectively.
• Participates in ongoing interdisciplinary assessment of the patient.
• Participates in the development and evaluation of the plan of care in partnership with the patient, representative (if any), and caregiver(s).
• Provides services that are ordered by the physician as indicated in the plan of care.
• Recognizes and reports changes in the patient’s condition to the RN supervisor.
• Counsels and educates the patient and family in meeting healthcare related needs.
• Assists the RN or physician in performing specialized procedures and duties.
• Assists the RN in carrying out the patient plan of care.
• Assists the client in learning appropriate self-care techniques.
• Effectively communicates with other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team providing care to promote coordination of patient care and planning for discharge.
• Communicates with all physicians involved in the plan of care and other health care practitioners (as appropriate) related to the current plan of care.
To qualify for an LPN/LVN Supervisor with us, you will need: ?
• Associate degree in business, Marketing, Healthcare or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Current Practical Nurse (LPN) or Vocational Nurse (LVN) Program license active in state in which he/she practices.
• Three (3) years relevant experience in medical services or clinical environment with knowledge of medical terminology including previous supervisory experience of at least one year
