CommuniCare Health Services is currently recruiting an experienced Nurse Practitioner for the position of Clinical Advisor for our medical practice, Personalized Health Partners . This Clinical Advisor position will lead the clinical team of Nurse Practitioners servicing our facilities in the Cincinnati, OH region.
PURPOSE/BELIEF STATEMENT
The Clinical Advisor provides leadership to the clinical sub-team to enforce clinical protocols, education, coding, model of care, and quality metrics.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Master's Degree, Advanced Nurse Practitioner
• 2  years of clinical experience
• 2 years in Managed Care
• Nursing home experience required
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
• Strong background and ability to use Microsoft Suite, specifically Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Extremely disciplined to work from home when required
• Must be knowledgeable of Administrative practices, standards of practice and state practice acts and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to providing clinical care.
• Must have the ability to make independent decisions.
• Must be able to deal tactfully with executive, corporate and field team members.
• Must possess leadership and the willingness to work harmoniously with team members in all positions.
• Must be able to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, etc. that are necessary for providing quality care.
• Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to implement them into existing practices.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Clinically manage partial case load of patients
• Support the daily operations of clinical team
• Assist with employee onboarding and education, i.e Coding optimization, use of EHR, interdisciplinary team communication, etc.
• Provide ongoing clinical support to field team as deemed appropriate (Travel required).
• Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines and system policies/procedures for all activities within the practice
• Assist with chart reviews and assess clinical competency of assigned team
• Identify opportunities for process and operational improvement
• Identify/anticipate education opportunities for clinical team
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders within Medical Practice, Nursing Facilities, Corporate Leadership, and CommuniCare Advantage partners
• Perform all other job duties as assigned.
