Summary:
* You will be responsible to check all production batches and finished product to ensure QC standards are met. Tests will be done in accordance with internal SOPs and FDA/GMP requirements.
Job Responsible:
* You will be responsible to test and adjust production batches as required by formula and SOP. Communicate and record adjustments as required.
* You will be responsible to test finished products, stability and validation samples using required methods.
* You will be responsible to perform instrumental analyses as needed using HPLC, GC or TOC.
* You will ensure to complete all paperwork, record keeping and posting associated with approving and releasing batches.
* You will help evaluate data for trends and author standard operating procedures and microbiological test methods.
* You will be responsible to test products based on customer complaints or returns as needed, and retest returned goods for release or rejection as authorized.
* You are held to be responsible for assisting in the company's compliance to current Good Manufacturing Practices.
* You will communicate to other shifts as needed concerning special microbiological testing and any pertinent issues.
Skills
* Wet Chemistry
* HPLC
* GC
Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry AND Biochemistry
* Knowledge of basic lab equipment and calibration
* Knowledge of GMPs in a manufacturing setting
* Analytical chemistry and wet chemistry experience (HPLC, GC)
Work Environment
* QC Manufacturing Lab
