Job Summary
Duties include inspecting inbound shipments for damage, receiving inbound shipments, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming merchandise or material, and stocking materials. Picking and packing kits, picking, and packing orders and shipping. Other duties include labeling and package of products and performing basic warehouse maintenance.
Shift: Monday to Friday; 8a - 5p
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Receive all material, machinery, chemicals, and supplies.
• Verify shipments against purchase orders, examine upon arrival and report discrepancies.
• Prepare items for shipment to customers and/or return to supplier.
• Maintain record keeping systems and mark material with part numbers, date and lot codes, revisions, etc.
• Stocking materials in proper locations.
• Picking component kits and preparing for shipment to contract manufacturers.
• Picking orders, packing, and shipping to customers.
• Participate in cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 - 5 years experience in a similar position.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Possess basic computer skills.
• Detail oriented
• Knowledge of UPS shipping procedures
• SAGE software experience is a must
