Position Type: Adult Education/Adult Education InstructorDate Posted: 6/10/2022Location: Warren County Career CenterDate Available: TBDClosing Date: ongoingDistrict: Warren County Career CenterOpen Position: Evening STNA Instructor (4:00 - 9:30) - Adult Education Location: Warren County Career Center - Atrium Campus Qualifications: Valid State of Ohio LPN or RN license + a minimum of five years of experience Must have current Train the Trainer certificate or be willing to complete training to obtain certificate by attending a four-day course that is offered locally. The Train the Trainer course will be paid for by WCCC for the successful STNA Instructor candidate(s). In order to be eligible for the Train the Trainer course you must meet the following criteria:Resume, LPN - Work experience of 3,200 hours must be obtained in LTC setting - only Resume, RN - Must have 2 years (3200 hours) of nursing experience as a licensed nurse caring for the elderly or chronically ill individuals of any ages. This experience may be obtained through employment in a LTC facility, home health agency, or hospital providing care to chronically ill or other LTC setting. Work experience must be provided with written documentation of 3200 hours on company letter-head from employers and submitted with your registration and resume. (48 hours prior to start of Train the Trainor course). You must include contact name and number of employers so that it can be verified. Valid or ability to obtain Adult Education Teaching Permit, through The Ohio Department of Education Experience in teaching adult students is desirable Willingness to work with students and colleagues as a team member Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills Valid Ohio Driver's License Must pass criminal background check after job offer is made Stating Date and Salary: As soon as possible and available until filled Part-time, $29.58/hourThe STNA program strives to provide scheduling options to fit all students' needs. The program hours alternate between days (9:00 - 3:30) and evenings (4:00 - 9:30) every other month. For example, January (Day), February (Evening), March (Day), April (Evening) Etc.
