Hours: 40
Travel Pay: $2,016 gross-$18/hr +$1386 stipend
Local Pay: $45/hr
Start Date: ASAP
License/Certs: AART, BLS, KY license (will need to apply for OH during compliance)
No call!
Only work one Saturday every 4-6 weeks
• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations utilizing the appropriate ultrasound equipment
• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using a variety of ultrasound imaging equipment
• Prepare patients for ultrasound examination
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and work
• Review ultrasound images with Radiologist
• Use ultrasound for related diagnostic procedures
• Maintaining adequate inventory of ultrasound supplies
• Maintain and control all ultrasound equipment
• Performing all ultrasound techniques and examinations
• Perform ultrasound quality control measure andchecks
• Perform ultrasound quality control measures and checks
• Maintain proper operation of the ultrasound equipment
• Correlate ultrasound exams with other radiology procedures
• Instruct and prepare patients for ultrasound procedures
• Maintain patient privacy while performing the ultrasound
• Assess the findings in the ultrasound examinations and assist the physicians in interpreting the ultrasound studies
• Order and stock all ultrasound lab supplies
• Perform all ultrasound procedures request by provider
• Perform a full range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures and operate all ultrasound equipment in assigned department
• Operate the ultrasound equipment unders safe conditions and report any equipment issues to the director of ultrasound
