Description:
Follows manufacturers instructions to mix paint materials, etc. to proper color and consistency. Must be able to prepare surfaces and properly apply paint and other finishes to surfaces of manufactured products, building, etc., with brush or power equipment. Properly label and store paint and chemicals. Clean, maintain and store applicators, supplies and materials. Must inspect finished surfaces for proper appearance and use to determine paint build thickness. Daily/weekly TPM tasks must be performed with accuracy and consistency. Minimum supervision. 6,000 hours of experience required to perform work, attain skills necessary. Performs other duties as designated by supervisor in the same salary grade or below.
