Description
Humana is seeking a Physician Strategy Sr. Professional to join our growing team. The Physician Strategy professional will be responsible for setting and implementing strategy for internal and external physician groups. The Physician Strategy Sr. Professional work assignments involving moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
Location : Remote USA, but must work CT or ET business work hours
The Physician Strategy Sr. Professional increases engagement and interactions. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Yammer/Buzz engagement and maintenance
•
Physician Specialty directory maintenance (Power BI Tool)
•
Maintain and update All Physician list monthly + ad hoc
•
Physician Sharepoint site updates, maintenance and engagement
•
All Physician Newsletter - lead design and content for quarterly physician newsletter (in conjunction with Physician Sub-Committees)
•
Lead Mentor Programs (New Hire and Leader Led) + Program Maintenance
•
Lead and design community surveys (Survey Monkey)
•
PLDP (Physician Leadership Development Program) Lead/Program Maintenance
•
Recognition Program Engagement and Maintenance (manage daily recognition as well as corp recognition programs)
•
Meeting planning and support, including in-person and virtual meetings
•
Maintain and update repository for Physician Growth, Development and Education Opportunities
Required Qualifications:
•
Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant experience (supporting physicians, leading engagement programs, etc.)
•
Experience supporting clinical professionals (3+ years)
•
Project Management Experience
•
Comfort and ability presenting to large audiences of Physicians and Executive Leaders
•
Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
•
Experience working on associate engagement programs
•
Experience working on and executing corporate communication plans
•
Experience working with Power BI and other analytic tools
•
Humana knowledge and experience
Additional Details:
• Potential for quarterly travel
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
•
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
•
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
•
Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
•
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
•
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
