Are you a Medical Doctor looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a compassionate Physician to join our team in Florence, KY!
Under supervision of our Chief Medical Officer, you will provide day-to-day clinical care to frail institutional and non-institutional patients and residents, you will practice and role-model ethical and evidence-based decision-making to promote the vision and mission of the company to other practitioners and staff.

Key Duties:
• Our physicians diagnose and treat injuries or illnesses
• Examine patients; take medical histories; prescribe medications; and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
• They often counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare
• Update charts and patient information to show current findings and treatments
• Order tests for nurses or other healthcare staff to perform
• Review test results to identify any abnormal findings
• Recommend and design a plan of treatment
• Address concerns or answer questions that patients have about their health and well-being
• Help patients take care of their health by discussing topics such as proper nutrition and hygiene
• Serves as medical director and provides supervision in accordance with state practice, rules and regulations
• Other duties as assigned
Role Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited school of medicine and is a Doctor of Medicine
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatrics; qualification in Geriatrics preferred
• Practicing physician currently licensed under the provisions of the State Board of Medicine
• Valid license to practice medicine
• Current Drug Enforcement Administration registration
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare support staff
• Ability to treat patients and their families with compassion and understanding
• Strong organizational skills, including good recordkeeping
• Ability to work for long periods of time with patients who need special attention
• Ability to display patience with children and adult patients who fear medical treatment
