Job Description

As a part-time SEO Specialist, you will assist with optimizing technical configurations and all other related marketing activities. You will oversee all aspects of SEO tasks such as link building, technical SEO issues, and completing some research assignments.
Responsibilities:
• Researching backlink sources and the impact of search engine optimization.
• Managing directory listing and placement information.
• Conduct outreach to new and existing linking partners.
• Observing and tracking backlinks that are earned.
• Supporting various disciplines within the company, helping to earn new backlinks from blog articles, social media, and press releases.
• Taking the lead with high priority technical issues with a focus on redirects, recognized tags, and crawling errors.
Qualification:
• Proven SEO experience
• Understanding of organic growth marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisitions.
• Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
• In-depth experience with website analytics tools.
• Up to date knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM.
• Experience with SEMrush or Yext is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
This is a remote contracted role with an estimated 20 hours per week. This role pays $38.00 per hour and will primarily focus on off-site SEO (bank linking, directory management etc.)
