Our 2nd and 3rd shifts offer a $4 shift differential along with up to an $8,000 shift bonus! Positions greater than 20 hours weekly are eligible for full benefits, and positions greater than 30 hours weekly are considered full time! We have flexibility to consider from Lab Tech's working toward MLT/Bachelor's degree up through accredited MLS and MT with a Bachelor's degree. Employee Assistance Program, Discounts, and much more! 3rd Shift MT/MLT Generalist Position Preferred Lab Partners (PLP)/St Elizabeth Healthcare is a fast paced, high volume, progressive Clinical Laboratory seeking a certified Medical Technologist (MT, MLS) with a Bachelor of Sciences degree from an accredited Medical Laboratory Science program for the Medical Technologist position in our Core (Hematology and Chemistry) Laboratory. The Core Lab also offers cross training and job rotation opportunities to work in Immunology, Toxicology using UPLC technology, Blood Bank, and a STAT Lab located in the Emergency Department. Applicants must be self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic. Applicants must be able to perform a variety of duties effectively and efficiently in a collaborative team environment, always striving for excellent results while troubleshooting specimen results, technical concerns, and instrument errors. The Core Lab is a fully automated lab with a comprehensive test menu. Our Chemistry department currently uses the Roche 8000 chemistry lines and ABL 800 Flex Blood Gas analyzers. Hematology instrumentation includes an automated Sysmex line with slide maker/stainer and Cell-a-Vision, Iris for Urinalysis and Body Fluids, ACL Top Coagulation analyzers, and Alcor ISED instruments for Sed Rates. QualificationsEducation, Credentials, Licenses: Baccalaureate Degree in a Biological Science with completion of a NAACLS approved Medical Technology program along with certification from a nationally recognized certifying agency ORBaccalaureate Degree in a Biological Science with completion of a NAACLS approved Medical Technology program along with ASCP Certification ORCLIA '88 Equivalent ( HEW/HHS Certification) ORRegistry Eligible - Baccalaureate Degree in a Biological Science and have completed a NAACLS accredited MT/CLS program AND be certified within a year of eligibility or be certified one year from date of hire. Registry Eligible for a Section Certification - must have a Baccalaureate Degree with a minimum of five-years technical experience in ONE of the Clinical Areas of the Laboratory.
