H2 Health/Lucas Therapies is seeking a driven Rehab Aide/Rehab Tech to work part-time at our new Lucas Lynchburg outpatient clinic located in Lynchburg, VA. Our ideal candidate is someone passionate about helping others, committed to providing quality care and looking to grow within our family. As a Rehab Tech / Rehab Aide, you will be responsible for providing assistance to physical therapists in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. Our ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills, a compassionate attitude, and a dedication to helping those in need. Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Prior experience in healthcare is preferred, and knowledge in anatomy and exercises
Qualifications:
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to follow instructions and work with limited supervision
• Physical fitness and strength to perform physical labor
• Ability to work with people of various backgrounds and disabilities
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries
• Ability to administer basic life support
• Ability to operate equipment such as wheelchairs, lifts, and gurneys
• Ability to take and document accurate measurements
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
Multi-locations: No
Facility Hours: Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM
Hour per week: 10-24 hours per week
Compensation: Hourly, Commensurate with experience
