Job Description•Medical Laboratory Technologists perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures in microbiology. They assist physicians in diagnosing, monitoring, treating and preventing disease. They perform routine and complex laboratory analyses, identify and correct problems and develop alternatives when necessary. They stay current in laboratory theory and technique and assume responsibility for problem solving. Laboratory Technology requires the exercise of independent judgment and interpretation.
