Job DescriptionThe purpose of this nurse home visitation program is to support clients and their family to achieve the outcomes established by Every Child Succeeds, and HANDS. The goals are to improve pregnancy outcomes, improve children's health and development and to improve the mother's personal development as described by Every Child Succeeds (ECS)/ Healthy Access Nurturing Development Services (HANDS). The program is focused on low-income first time mothers beginning contact during pregnancy and continuing for the first two years after the child is born.Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.QualificationsREQUIREDEducation, Credentials, Licenses: Associate Degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited nursing school.Specialized Knowledge: Previous work experience in Maternal Child Community Health Nursing. Attend training program from Prevention Research Center for Family and Child Health.Kind and Length of Experience: Previous work experience in Maternal Child Community Health or Mental Health Nursing
