Responsive Technology Partners is seeking a full-time low voltage installation technician for our Roanoke VA office. The qualified candidate should be familiar with the installation, termination, and testing of structured cabling systems including CAT5e and CAT6 cable.Company Culture:Responsive Technology Partners Inc. prides itself in allowing time for our employees' families. Our business hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. After hours calls sometimes happen but are not a regular occurrence which allows our employees to enjoy life outside of the workplace. We pride ourselves in creating a team culture where everyone is valued and able to make a difference within our company and with our clients.Cabling position requirements are:Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, and have a professional demeanorMust promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients, and business partners.Must have proven skill level or the ability to learn to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements.Must be able to work at heights, off a ladder and in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds.Must be able to see and distinguish different colors and read small print.Must be able to travel within the branch territory and/or regional territory as needed.Must have and maintain a valid Virginia driver's license.Must pass a background check and drug test
