Job Description
Allied Universal® is hiring a Casualty Claims Advisor.
The Casualty Claims Case Manager is responsible for all customer service functions, and quality control of the final investigative product for complex claims delivered to clients in the Insurance and Insurance Defense Industries. In addition, the Claims Manager is also responsible for meeting Internal Billing goals on a monthly basis, creating accurate funding records for all items billable to the client, and sound management of their assigned case inventory.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages liability and SIU investigations referred from a variety of clients/carriers for both commercial and personal lines insurance
Maintains a fluid case inventory so as to adhere to file requirements, due dates and compliance. Facilitates the timely handling of all cases.
Uses independent judgment to define and confirm client objectives (including due dates) on all new, reopen, and investigative referral cases.
Consults the client to assist in the development and implementation of an efficient, effective and ethical investigation of an insurance claim
Assigns a qualified investigator based upon the needs of the client and geographical location of the case
Ensures that the investigator assigned has been given clear instruction on the client's expectations so that the investigation can be completed in a timely manner.
Maintains communication with both the client and the investigator as the investigation progresses
Utilizes our proprietary tracking system to closely monitor and advance the work product through the various production stages until case completion.
Works with administrative team members to organize and manage matters in the Case Management System
Thoroughly proofs and reviews all investigative reports to ensure that the report is professional and accurate.
Uses sound management of the assigned case inventory, utilizing discretion and independent judgment to resolve conflicts between clients and/or investigators.
Handles customer complaints (negotiating as needed) and forwards field operation issues to the appropriate field supervisor as needed.
Conducts quality control after the investigation is complete, ensuring that all client objectives have been addressed, and the billing applied to the work product falls within the standard billing schedule or client contract rates.
Adheres to clear guidelines regarding Allied Universal Compliance and Investigation's company policies on privacy and ethics
Formal Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required:
Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, International Studies, National Security, Communications, or a related field
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required:
Must possess a minimum of five (5) years of related insurance adjusting experience.
Proficiency in Microsft Outlook, Excel and WORD
Effective communication skills both verbally and orally
Excellent interpersonal skills to work within a team
