How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:
Offer extreme customer service to visitors of the coffee bar, make sales, prepare coffee etc. Instruct people on selectorized and cardiovascular equipment.
• Maintain standards of cleanliness in all fitness areas – both in the facility and equipment.Clean and maintain equipment, clean windows and mirrors, change paper towel dispensers, empty towel buckets, mop and vacuum all surrounding areas.
• Instruct people on cardiovascular and selectorized equipment.
• Assist members with weights and spot members as needed.
• Must have good communications skills.
• Wear proper nametag and appropriate uniform.
• Work scheduled shifts, follow proper procedure when filling shifts, unable to work.
• Perform appropriate miscellaneous duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
• Move and rearrange equipment when needed.
• Preventative maintenance on equipment after training.
• May not be employed at another fitness facility while working at the RAC without the permission of the Vice President.
What We Require:
Education: High school graduate or GED equivalent preferred.
Experience: Personal fitness or work experience in a fitness related environment required.
License, certification, and/or registration: CPR/AED required. If not certified, must obtain certification within 90 days after hire date.Ability to effectively communicate with staff and members with a high level of enthusiasm.
