Job DescriptionThe Cardiovascular Radiographer I is a health care professional that, through the utilization of specialized equipment and under the direction of a qualified cardiologist, performs procedures on adult patients resulting in accurate diagnosis and/or optimal treatment of congenital or acquired heart and/or peripheral vascular disease while maintaining maximum patient safety. CVRT-I is primarily responsible for employing imaging techniques and operation of other related equipment. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background. MINIMUM DESIRABLE Education, Credentials, Licenses: Must be RT, licensed in the state where work is being performed and registered as a RT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Specialized Knowledge: CPR certification Interventional Radiology experience Kind and Length of Experience: Greater than 2 years' experience as RT and/or patient care experience. Cath lab experience
