Our employees are not only part of history, but they're also making history. Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for a Manufacturing Scheduler 1 located in Charlottesville, VA. Roles and Responsibilities:Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of industrial or commercial products.Establishes sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates.Determines daily production schedules based on engineering plans, production specifications, plant capacity, availability of parts, and manpower requirements.Readjusts schedules according to production progress, change orders, or other delaying conditions.Coordinates with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.Basic Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent and 1 year of additional education and/or related experience.Ability to communicate verbally and written.Basic computer skills.Preferred Qualifications:Associate degree with 1 year related experience in Manufacturing, planning, scheduling, purchasing or manufacturing engineering.Knowledge and usage of Systems Analysis and Program Development software (SAP / ERP, Gold repairs tracking system)Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.Salary Range: $34,500.00 - $57,500.00Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
