Full Job Description Job Title: Footwear Lead
Department: Retail
Reports To: Store Manager
Supervises: N/A
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Part-Time
Position Summary The Footwear Lead is responsible for positively impacting the customer’s experience by providing leadership and support in the footwear zone. The Footwear Lead assists store leadership in merchandising, replenishing, promotion and markdown execution, selling and customer service in the footwear zone. The Footwear Lead is expected to model Under Armour’s Core Competencies and I WILL behaviors in all actions and interactions in order to maintain a positive Teammate and Athlete experience.
Leadership
·Recognize and communicate Footwear opportunities to store leadership in a timely manner; partner with Store Manager and/or Merchandising DOR to develop and execute action plans for resolution.
· Hold self accountable for maintaining a customer focused environment when operating during business hours.
·Proactively seek personal learning and development opportunities to build leadership skill set and enhance individual performance. Operations
·Builds Athlete loyalty through in-store experience, through the use of Athlete data capture (where applicable), endless aisle and the understanding of Connected Fitness applications.
· Act as store expert in all footwear knowledge and technology.
·Understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
· Be aware of and adhere to all Loss Prevention policies and advise management of any unusual internal or external activity.
·Communicate all employee accidents/injuries to store leadership immediately.
Talent
·Teach, train and coach store teammates on footwear product knowledge and technology. Understand competitor’s footwear offerings, industry trends, and upcoming UA footwear releases to be able to educate athletes and team on what makes UA footwear unique and a competitive advantage for our athletes.
·Drive teammate engagement by recognizing and rewarding teammates for their outstanding performance in delivering to Under Armour’s brand standards in footwear.
Merchandising
·Oversee and execute Floor Sets and company directed marketing and merchandising directives in footwear zone.
· Lead efficient and effective day to day store merchandising by ensuring that the store team understands and maintains Under Armour brand standards and sell through adjustments are held true to the Floor Set overview.
·Partner with Merchandising DOR to ensure all aspects of replenishment are properly executed - Fill the Floor, power closes, power opens and merchandise adjustments.
·Perform “level-sets” and make sure the store is replenished by pushing all goods to the floor.
·Maintain Under Armour brand standards of neat, clean and organized sales floor and footwear zone, ensuring store environment is safe for teammates and athletes.
· Lead all visual directives ensuring mapping and Floor Set are properly planned, scheduled and executed seamlessly within allotted timeframe in the footwear zone.
·Supervise the efficient and productive handling of all merchandise including shipment receipt and processing, Floor Sets, markdown optimization and replenishment systems while maintaining backroom standards.

Position Summary
The Stock Lead is responsible for maximizing the store selling potential by effectively training and supervising Stock and Sales Associates on all back of house merchandise handling processes. The Stock Lead assists the store leadership team in ensuring the stockroom standard operating procedures (SOP) is flawlessly executed and the store achieves brand standards for shipment processing, replenishment, markdowns and merchandising. The Stock Lead is expected to model Under Armour’s Core Competencies and I WILL behaviors in all actions and interactions in order to maintain a positive Teammate and Athlete experience.
Leadership
·Communicate clear priorities and productivity goals to Stock and Sales Associates and hold team and self-accountable for achieving them.
·Proactively seek personal learning and development opportunities to build leadership skill set and enhance individual performance.
·Communicate all employee accidents/injuries to store leadership immediately.
·Maintain and support safety standards on sales floor and in the stockroom; communicate safety concerns to store leadership.
·Support store and company level strategies to reduce shrink; observe and monitor for signs of shrink and advise store leadership of any unusual internal or external activity.
·Convey any shipment related concerns or issues to store leadership.
·Understand and adhere to all company policy and procedures.
Operations
·Support the store leadership team in driving flawless execution of the stockroom standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure efficient and effective processes in order to maximize productivity and sales. · Lead efficient and effective shipment processing by making sure associates are following processing and placement guidelines and achieving units per hour productivity expectations.
·Inform store leadership of shipment and stockroom fixture supply needs.
·Perform audit and transfer of damaged and defective merchandise.
·Responsibility for the organization and cleanliness of all back of house areas to include Lundia’s, Supply area, Teammate break room, and restrooms.
·Provide feedback to corporate business partners on any shipment/delivery discrepancies.
·Understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Talent
· Lead role in training, developing, and coaching Stock and Sales Associates on the merchandise handling skills needed to consistently achieve merchandise productivity standards for shipment processing, replenishment, markdowns and merchandising.
·Provide store leadership with productivity updates; proactively identify and communicate feedback on Associate performance.
·Coach associates when productivity expectations are not being met, and provide performance feedback upward to leadership team.

·Understand and adhere to Under Armour’s visual standards in order to maximize merchandise presentations when flowing product from the stockroom to the sales floor.
·Communicate merchandising opportunities to store leadership as identified through replenishing size specific quantities throughout the store: recommend and execute merchandising adjustments in compliance with Under Armour visual standards.
·Oversee and execute markdowns and re-ticketing in the stockroom and on the sales floor; update store leadership on compliance.
