Full Job Description Seeking in home nanny for 1 year and 3 year old toddlers and possible house manager. Hours can be 20-35 per week, typically 8am to 4pm. Would appreciate occasional weekend time. 2 weeks of paid vacation if one year contract signed. The children will be in preschool 9-12 on weekdays starting September. If you are interested in more hours, then when kids are in school, then you will be performing house manager tasks. We will also need childcare when school is out as their school follows roanoke city break schedule.
Nanny Job Responsibilities:
• Provides customized and personalized childcare for their children in their home.
• Administers one-on-one care and meets the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs of the children.
• Contributes to a safe, caring, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which the children thrive and develop.
• Keeps the children’s areas neat and tidy and does the children’s laundry.
• Transports children to and from activities, school and plans the children’s daily schedule.
• May include additional household tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, housekeeping, and laundry.
Nanny Qualifications/Skills:

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
• Must be over 18 years old
• College education preferred
• CPR/FA, 1 & 2 (within 6-12 months of hire), and CPI certification
• Minimum one (1) year of professional or personal experience working with children, preferably both with infants and toddlers
• Must have a valid in-state driver’s license, provide current registration and insurance, and have a driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years
• Must pass criminal background check
