Hours: 37.5 hr/week
Caseload: Preschool / Elementary aged kiddos
Do you have a desire to make a difference in their lives? If so, we want you to join our team as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)! We are looking for an SLPA who is enthusiastic, compassionate, and dedicated to helping our students reach their full potential.
**To be successful in this role, you should have:
• Associate's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field
• 6 months of experience working with children with speech and language disorders
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• State Certification
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Speech Language Pathologist in the screening, assessment, and treatment of communication disorders.
• Work with clients one-on-one or in small groups to implement speech and language therapy plans developed by the Speech Language Pathologist.
• Document client progress and maintain accurate records of treatment sessions.
• Help prepare therapy materials and maintain therapy equipment.
• Communicate regularly with the Speech Language Pathologist and other members of the therapy team regarding client progress and treatment plans.
