Full Job Description Food Fanatics Kitchen located near downtown Roanoke is looking for a bartender trainee! We are looking for an individual who has passion to learn bartending and a dream to work in a craft bar. No bartending experience is necessary! Experience in restaurant customer service or kitchen work is preffered, but we are willing to train anyone interested in diving into the bartending experience. As a bartender, you will need to be able to work quickly while multi-tasking and communicating with customers. You will need to be able to learn the alcohol, beer and wine quickly. You will need to have a passion for learning all parts of bartending, liquor, alcohol and cocktails.
We are a close-knit, friendly team in a locally-owned restaurant and want to bring on a trainee who will enjoy this environment.
Shifts will primarily be evening shifts, but some mornings may be requested if available.
Starting pay is $12/hr plus tips. As you become more experienced as a bartender, you have the opportunity to earn significant tips from your bar customers.
