This position plays an important role in maintaining Nicollet County’s beautiful Minnemishinona Falls and 7 Mile parks. Responsibilities also include operating heavy equipment as needed (mainly snow removal) and maintaining the grounds at the Public Works facility.

Minimum qualifications & Requirements In order to be considered for this position, we require High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) and two years of park maintenance or heavy equipment operator experience. We will consider candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. A Class “A” Minnesota Driver’s license (manual transmission license) is required. Nicollet County will provide paid training for the new employee to obtain a Commercial Vehicle Inspector certificate and a Class A Minnesota Driver’s license within the first six months of employment.
