Speech Language Pathologists Assistant (SLPA) Position Available | Near Cincinnati, OH
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As an SLP, you will be responsible for providing services to K-12 students, onsite at a local school district.
The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy to students with a wide range of communication disorders. You will work closely with the school staff to ensure that the students receive the support they need to succeed.
Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• State licensure in Georgia
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working with K-12 students with communication disorders
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Details:
• Location: Aurora, IN (Close to Cincinnati, OH)
• Start: August 1, 2023 - May 24, 2024
• Hours: 37.5 hr/week
• Caseload: Preschool / Elementary aged kiddos
• Requirements: Must be licensed as a SLPA in IN
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
• Provide direct therapy to students, individually or in groups
• Work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and other professionals to provide a coordinated approach to support the students' communication skills
• Attend meetings and consultations with parents, teachers, and other professionals to discuss the students' progress and goals
