The Room Server is responsible for assembling and delivering orders to the guest’s room.What you will have an opportunity to do:As a Room Service Server, you will offer world class customer service in greeting and serving our guests food and/or beverage through Room Service delivery. Responsible for assembling and delivering orders to the guest’s room.Position is Part Time. Shift is 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm- 2 to 3 nights a week (may also include other days when coverage is needed. Opportunity to cross train in other F&B areas)Pay is $4.00 per hour plus gratuity and increase after the completion of 90 days. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalent.Two years full service restaurant experience.Good food and service knowledge.Pleasant personality.Excellent communication skills.Ability to read, write and speak clearly and accurately in English.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Answer phone and greet guests with a smile and ascertain their dining needsRespond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient mannerEnsure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specialsTake guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale systemRetrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely mannerEnsure guest satisfactionServe alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulationsEnsure Room Service is well-stocked at all timesAssist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.Perform other related duties as requested by Manager.MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.Help out in other areas of food and beverage as needed.Stocking shelves and reach-ins with product essential to department operation.Cleaning and organizing the work area.What are we looking for?In addition to the above-listed qualifications, the ideal candidate will SOAR.Show UpOwn itAim HighRespect OthersBenchmark Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
