Full Job Description
As a Production Supervisor, you will:
• Provide daily direction to hourly team in execution of production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
• Implement process improvements that focus on achieving Sales / Inventory / Service / Quality / EHS improvement metrics
• Support, encourage and facilitate Lean Manufacturing principles and 5S
• Interact constructively with other departments.
• Assisting with other administrative tasks, when required.
• Support all company workplace policies, including safety objectives, quality, attendance, and performance management
• Other duties as required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• High School or GED equivalent
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience
• 2+ years of supervisory experience required
• Knowledge in manufacturing or engineering processes
• Experience with MS Office suite and ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Ability to hire, train and develop potential employees
• Availability to work occasional weekends and variable hours
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Ability to multi-task and can work with minimal supervision
• Ability to stand for long periods on solid surfaces
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• Associate degree from an accredited school in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field of study
