Supports Carilion's hallmarks of service excellence and quality for all job responsibilities. Provides Employee Relations support to assigned clients. Requires strong generalist knowledge of HR functions, with advanced understanding of employee relations and employment law. Provides guidance to leaders and employees and may serve as a resource or expert on multi-disciplinary teams. Will lead projects or significant bodies of work. Uses discretion and/or good judgment on more complex subjects. Expected to work under minimal supervision.

What We Require:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience: Five (5) years of HR/related experience with at least three years in employee relations required.
Licensure, certification, and/or registration: None required. Relevant HR Certification preferred.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Must possess excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skills, including presentation skills. Must possess a solid knowledge of employment law. Demonstrated analytical thinking and interpersonal skills. Must work well in a team environment and have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Lawson knowledge preferred. Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to work on multiple tasks/projects while meeting deadlines and being flexible in an environment of changing priorities.
