Job Description
Professional with nursing license to perform patient assessments, monitor patients, interpret EKG s, supervise exercise therapy, assist with education, and counsel patients regarding risk factor modification
Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.
Education, Credentials, Licenses:
Licensed to practice nursing in the state where work is being performed
Specialized Knowledge:
BLS & ACLS certification
EKG arrhythmia recognition
Kind and Length of Experience:
2 years Critical Care Nursing Experience with telemetry
Qualifications
This position is Monday, Wednesday & Friday 7:45a to 4:15p.
ACLS is required and a minimum of 2 years of critical care experience.
Required :
KY license required to start any RN position but not required to apply or interview.
Graduate from accredited School of Nursing. Meets contact hour requirements for licensure, including all state-required courses. Focus of education promotes nurses ability to practice in clinical area assigned.
Preferred :
BSN, clinical certification, specialized courses and MSN.
