POSITION SUMMARYReports To:Pharmacy SupervisorSummary:Under the guidance/supervision of Certified Pharmacy Techs/Pharmacist, Pharmacy Intern will perform functions of a student regarding preparation of medications. May measure, mix, count out, label, and record amounts and dosages of medications.Work Schedule:Must be able to work non-standard hours including weekends and holidays.SKILLS & ABILITIESEducationHigh School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). Must be actively enrolled in a Pharmacy Tech program.ExperienceCertification by the Indiana Board of Pharmacy as either a pharmacy technician or a pharmacy technician-in-training required.Computer SkillsProficient in Microsoft Office, email and basic computer skills for other software used throughout the hospital for your area of responsibility.Certificates & LicensesOther RequirementsPrevious experience in hospital or community pharmacy is desirable.
