• POSITION SUMMARY
• Reports To:
• Director of Cardiopulmonary
• Summary:
• Under the immediate supervision of the Manager or Director, the Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of the Polysomnography Technicians. In addition to supervisory duties, this position may also perform adult and pediatric polysomnograms, CPAP titrations, and is responsible for the scoring, or oversight of scoring, of all sleep studies. Supervises departmental workflow and functionality. Ensures consistent quality of labs. Maintains regulatory documentation and quality control.

• SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Education
• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an AMA accredited school of respiratory therapy or formal training in the testing/treatment of sleep disorders, resulting in certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnography Technologists as a Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT).
• Experience
• At least three (3) years Sleep lab or Sleep Center experience required. Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role strongly preferred.
• Computer Skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, email and basic computer skills for other software used throughout the hospital for your area of responsibility.
• Extensive knowledge of sleep diagnostic testing process, Basic computer skills, phone and customer service skills.
• Certificates & Licenses
• Current Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Other Requirements
• Interact with physicians, clinical/clerical staff, and patients/families.
