These shifts will be in partner facilities and can include working with multiple people per shift. Facility Care team members understand the importance of representing FirstLight in locations providing hours and business to us.A successful CNA at FirstLight has a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly, maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job. Pay Range is between $10.50-$12 per hour based on certification, experience, and shift. A bonus of $1/hour per pay period can be earned by achieving excellence in care including: approving shifts, showing up on time, not calling off after approving shifts and following procedures.Requirements:•Must meet State certification for Certified Nursing Assistant.•One year experience •Have a high school diploma/GED•Be able to pass a background check•Pass a drug test•Current TB test or willing to obtain •Reliable transportation•Ability to carry out directions, read and write•Participate in physical activity.•Ability to work for extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity.•Heavy lifting.•Ability to do extensive bending, lifting and standing on a regular basis.Additional Info:Responsibilities:•Providing grooming, dressing guidance, light housekeeping and assisting clients in the use of toilet facilities, including bed pans.•Provide incidental transportation for client which may include visits to doctor appointments, friends, family members, or stores.•May remind client of medications and assist clients with self-administration of medications. •Record and report changes in the client's physical condition, behavior or appearance to supervisor or Case Coordinator.•Assist clients in and out of bed, excluding the use of mechanical lifting equipment unless trained and documented as competent.•Assist with prescribed exercises when the client and the aide have been instructed by the appropriate health professional.•Documenting services delivered in accordance with FirstLight Home Care policies and procedures.•Other duties as assignedBenefits Include:•1 week bonus pay after 1 year of employment •Hourly bonus available every pay period•Pay for drive time and mileage if more than 1shift per day•Referral bonuses•Competitive wages•Paid training based upon your current wage•Time and half pay on holidays•Flexible schedules•Employee recognition for outstanding service•The opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others!
