Our entire team of physicians works closely with each other to provide expert diagnosis and treatment. Riverhills' coordinated team of Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Interventional Pain Management Specialists, Rehabilitation Services, Diagnostic Services and Behavioral Medicine work to provide the very best care, tailored to the specific needs of each patient.The Certified Coding Manager is responsible for all aspects of coding and charge entry. Supervises team of 5 to 6 coders and charge entry specialists.Certified Coding SupervisorSupervises staff and daily workflow.Assist with hiring new team members.Answer team member questions, helps team members with problems, and oversees team member work for quality and compliance.Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices and continue expectation.Properly coding physician visits/encounters (CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10) based on supportive chart documentation.Review hospital, office, and procedure operative/progress notes and charges for compliance and accuracy.Educate providers on updated payer policies.Monitor provider chart documentation and educate providers on necessary changes.Performing charge entry/data entry into a computerized billing management system.Researching and obtaining necessary documentation/information from provider/office to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely coding and charge entry.Assisting with research for denied claims & appeals; medical coverage policy/medical necessity.All other duties as assigned.Background and Experience5 years of Certified Coding (CPC) experience required.2 or more years of supervisory experience required.Experience in physician, specialty, surgical, hospital or pain management setting preferred.Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification accredited by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC)Proficient understanding and knowledge of the CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting.Detailed knowledge of medical & anatomical terminology.Detailed knowledge of HIPAA confidentiality & privacy regulations.Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.Benefits for Full Time Employees:Flexible scheduleWork from home once training is complete401k with Profit Sharing and Company MatchMedical, Dental, and Vision insuranceLong Term and Short Term Disability InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Holidays3+ Weeks of Paid Time OffContinuing Education ReimbursementUniform AllowanceFree ParkingIf you are interested in becoming part of a world-class healthcare team, please apply today.Equal Opportunity/Drug Free Work-place#IND3
