Job DescriptionLocation: UCMC Department: Labor & Delivery Hours: Full Time Shift: 12 hr Flex Registered Nurse (RN), Flex Shift, Labor & Delivery UC Health is hiring a Full- time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Labor & Delivery for the flex shift at UC Medical Center. The OBSCU is a Level IV Maternity Unit that serves a diverse patient population and wide range of diagnoses throughout patients' pregnancies, including but not limited to diabetic management, cardiac complications such as cardiomyopathy, preterm labor, preeclampsia, and more. UC Medical Center has 725 licensed beds and more than 5,800 employees.Unit Details: Diverse patient population and wide range of diagnoses throughout patients' pregnancies Supportive work environment - New grads are enrolled into a Nurse Residency program meeting once a month for a year with other new grads. Management and Educators provide check ins with all onboarding staff throughout their orientation. Clinical ladder program- opportunity for advancements from a CN 1 nurse by doing unit projects that comes with monetary benefits as well as career engagement. RN to BSN program- This of course is hospital wide but UC is now offering opportunity to apply for this cohort program part time or full time.
