We are seeking Caregivers able to perform Personal Care duties, with a passion for caring for others that will bring our clients exceptional care and compassion every day. Shifts are primarily within client homes located in Northern Kentucky. You must have a valid driver's license and your own car.A successful Personal Care Caregiver at FirstLight has a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly, maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job. Pay Range is between $9-$10.50 per hour based on certification, experience, and shift. A bonus of $1/hour per pay period can be earned by achieving excellence in care including: approving shifts, showing up on time, not calling off after approving shifts and following procedures.Requirements:•One year experience •Have a high school diploma/GED•Be able to pass a background check•Pass a drug test•Current TB test or willing to obtain •Reliable transportation•Ability to carry out directions, read and write•Participate in physical activity.•Ability to work for extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity on a regular basis.•Heavy lifting.Additional Info:RESPONSIBILITIES:•Provide companionship to clients.•Prepare and serve meals and/or snacks.•Provide grooming and dressing guidance.•Provide light housekeeping, laundry and linen service •Provide shopping service including grocery and clothes shopping.•Provide incidental transportation for client which includes visits to doctor appointments, friends, family members, or stores.•Provide assistance and planning of client's recreational activities and events.•Remind client of medications.•Record and report changes in the client's physical condition, behavior or appearance to supervisor or Case Coordinator.•Document services delivered in accordance with FirstLight Home Care policies and procedures.•Other duties as assignedBenefits Include:•1 week bonus pay after 1 year of employment •Hourly bonus available every pay period•Pay for drive time and mileage if more than 1shift per day•Referral bonuses•Competitive wages•Paid training based upon your current wage•Time and half pay on holidays•Flexible schedules•Employee recognition for outstanding service•The opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others!
