Level 2 or Level 3 CT Technician
As a senior member of the inspection services team, the main function will be to create and maintain the required procedures and documentation. In addition, they will be responsible for continuous monitoring and improvement of applicable individual and team training as well as converting feedback into improvements to ensure that our process meets customer and industry standards.
Areas of Responsibility
• Manage written practice and procedures for all CT Scanning Services
• Proactively perform exams for all Level 1 and Level 2 personnel (Level III Only)
• Achieve customer technique and approval when required
• Coordinate and maintain certifications to ISO, NAS 410 or others as needed
• Develop & Deliver training programs to collaboratively improve procedures and best practices
• Coordinate with training and consulting vendors as needed
• Perform imaging for CT Scanning services
• Act as Radiation safety officer
• Assist quoting team with specific projects
• Assist customers with CT related questions
• Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skill and Abilities
• Ability to effectively communicate with Exact Metrology (A Division of In-Place Machining) employees, customers and members of management in a professional manner.
• Thorough knowledge of the industrial radiography/CT method and related codes and practices
• Strong knowledge of Volume Graphics Software, Gom Inspect
• Excellent customer & team facing activities such as demonstrations and conference presentations
• Represent Exact Metrology with professional dress, demeanor, and positive attitude.
• Self-motivated and well organized
Experience / Education
• Three years experience related to CT method
• ASNT or NAS 410 Level 2 or 3
• Experience using GE or Zeiss CT Scanners a plus
• Experience using Metrology or Reverse Engineering Software a plus- (Polyworks, GOM Inspect, Design X, Solidworks, etc.)
• Not needed but recommended: Engineering Degree
You should be proficient in:
• CAD/CAM Software
• Blueprint Reading
• CAD Software
• Mechanical Assembly Skills
