Job Details
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Permanent Oncology Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical industry. As a Permanent Oncology Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with cancer. You will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible treatment and care.
Responsibilities:
• Administer chemotherapy and other cancer treatments to patients
• Monitor patients for side effects and complications of treatment
• Educate patients and their families about cancer treatments and management
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients
• Document patient care and treatment plans in electronic medical records
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families
• Participate in clinical research studies and trials
• Maintain knowledge of current oncology treatments and research
• Attend continuing education courses and conferences to stay up-to-date on industry developments
Qualifications:
• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology nursing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of electronic medical records and documentation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules
• Passion for providing high-quality care to patients with cancer
