Full Job Description The Franklin County Family YMCA is looking for enthusiastic individuals to be a part of the Second Grade Swim Safe Program. There are several swim instructor positions available. The YMCA will provide training and American Red Cross WSI certifications for all hired. Candidates must have high energy, positive attitude, are great working with children, and are great motivators. Candidates must be able to swim front crawl, back crawl, tread water, and float on their front and back. The Second Grade Program begins Monday August 28, 2017 and ends on December 22, 2017. Training begins August 14, 2017. The work hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00 A.M.-3:00 P.M. There will be other opportunities for more hours which include private swim lessons, normal swim lessons, life guarding, and working birthday parties and special events. The starting pay is 9.00 per hour. Applications can be picked up and turned into the front desk at the YMCA in Rocky Mount.
