Job Description
AmeriStaff is currently seeking an experienced Exception Associate to fill a position with a distribution company. This company specializes in distributing apparel, footwear and accessories and is located in Martinsville, VA
Responsibilities of the Exception Associate:
* Manage exception are flow by making correct cartons needed are processed.
* Assist the shortage team to process cartons with shortages and divert the cartons where needed.
* Process damaged or over packed cartons.
* Run shortage waves using the Warehouse Management System.
* Cycle count locations (i.e. pick tower locations) for inventory accuracy prior to running shortage waves.
* Communicate with inbound department for timely processing of shortage waves and replenishment.
* Effectively work and communicate with Supervisors and leads to complete and clean up waves.
* Effectively work with the outbound department to make next day pending shipments are complete the day prior.
* Use reports and tools to ensure full completion of waves and communicate with Supervisors if support is needed.
* Follow all DC safety rules and regulations including housekeeping of work area throughout the shift.
