**Job Description:**
As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by: Integrate highly technical information from various sources (data collection, surveys, research) and apply information appropriately in the planning/engineering framework. Develop traffic projections from applying travel demand models. Perform travel demand model updates, set up, development, and calibration and validation using CUBE and/or TransCAD. Develop scripts using R and Python to perform advanced data analysis for large databases. Perform independent tasks in project research and application of research for innovative traffic assignment modeling of toll facilities in transportation studies. Coordinate tasks of junior engineers and others assisting in specific assignments. Understand and apply CDM Smith's qualify management procedures to projects. Support new business proposals and marketing. Mentor junior staff and interns on technical aspects. The opening is out of our Boston, Massachusetts office. It is 100% remote; may work from home.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
Must possess at least a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of progressive work experience as a Transportation Engineer. In the alternative, at least a master's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field and 4 years of experience as a Transportation Engineer would be accepted. Must also possess the following: at least 4 years of experience developing with R Studio, CUBE, and ArcGIS; at least 3 years of experience with Python, Power BI, and Tableau; at least 2 years of experience with Web Scrapping and APIs; at least 2 years of experience with Machine Learning Models and Time Series Models; at least 1 year of experience with AWS (S3, EC2 and HPCs); and must have completed coursework and/or obtained a Professional certificate in data analysis or data engineering.
