Job Description NOW HIRING! Human Resources Administrative Assistant Location: Owensboro, KY 42303 Schedule: 8am-5pm Duration: 6 month contract Description: A company in Owensboro, KY has a plant that is over 625,000 square feet of high speed processing and packaging which produces certain brands for the whole world. This position will report to the Sr. Human Resources Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day Human Resource operations and activities supporting local and corporate initiatives. The HR assistant will act as a first line of contact for over 400 employees at the Owensboro plant and serve as a subject matter expert in areas of Human Resources including: - Employee Relations issue resolution - systems and processes - benefits - recruiting and leaves of absence The HR assistant is responsible for staying current on all federal, state, and local laws, guidelines and regulations. This role will serve as the hourly Payroll Administrator, provide support to the SR. Human Resources Manager and the Owensboro leadership team. Skills: Human resources experience, Data entry, Onboarding, Administrative support, Customer service, HR Support, Outlook, Microsoft excel, Microsoft office, Payroll, Hr systems, communication and people skills, employee benefits, clerical skills, Computer skills, manufacturing environment, production environment are a plus, adp software is a plus, phr certification is a plus Additional Skills & Qualifications: 1.Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; 2.Serves employees with a customer service mindset and bias for action 3.Coach and guide employees with their questions, concerns, or issues 4.Collaborate with corporate HR and Payroll 5.Conduct internal and external recruitment as required 6.Act as an HR liaison to managers, supervisors and other members of leadership providing coaching and guidance 7.Conduct and assist with internal pulse checks of the workforce 8.Assist in coordination of organizational changes within the plant as business needs require 9.Coordinate filing of discipline, attendance, rewards & recognition and diversity programs and systems 10.Collaborate with area vendors to coordinate company events, meals and activities for employees 11.Applicant tracking 12.HRIS/data entry, accuracy and audit 13.Employee relations/positive employee relations 14.HR project work Experience Level: Entry Level and up About Aston Carter: Please Note: Scammers are posing as Aston Carter.
