Earth Fare Team Leaders
At Earth Fare Our Team Leaders are managers who are responsible for modeling Earth Fares Mission, Conviction and Purpose, while developing and managing a successful team within their department. Team Leader responsibilities include adhering to the departments standard operating procedures; meeting and exceeding financial goals including gross profit, shrink, sales, labor and department over-head. Team Leaders are responsible for ensuring a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Wellness Team Leader
Contributions
• Training & Development: Communicates the Earth Fare vision, standard operating procedures, merchandising guidelines, and financial goals to Team Members, with strong emphasis on customer service, safety and sanitation. Interviews, selects, trains, and supports team members with the goal of developing new leaders in the Wellness Department. Stays current with product knowledge of Wellness Department and continuously trains staff on current trends within the industry as directed by home office Wellness.
• Operational Tasks: Ordering and receiving deliveries; scheduling; checking daily and weekly sales/movement reports, shrink reports, emails and responding accordingly; Planogram integrity including product rotation a must; Leads Wellness Events as directed by Wellness home office; conducting quarterly department inventory. Continually find ways to reduce expenses.
• Merchandising: Develops and maintains an attractive sales floor by implementing Earth Fare merchandising guidelines.
• Department Conditions: Maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and overall organization of the department including all machines (Jet Spray), fixtures, storage, work stations, cooler and back stock.
Required Knowledge and Experience
• Knowledge of nutrition, supplements, herbs, homeopathy and body care industry trends. Understanding of DSHEA (Dietary Supplement Health & Education Act 1994) and how to read a supplement facts label, a nutrition facts label and navigate overall ingredients on labels. Awareness of common allergies and specialized dietary terms such as gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, etc.
• Experience managing a team of people
• Must have at least 3-5 experience in like-retail, with a preference in the natural/organic products industry.
• 2-3 Years minimum experience working with nutritional supplements, herbs, homeopathy, body care and natural/organic products.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel and Outlook. Ability to learn and use a Falcon hand-held computer scanner.
• Proven success managing shrink, sales, gross-profit and total overhead of a department in a similar environment required.

• Must be able to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads
• Must be able to stand and be on one's feet during the workday
