About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Mid-Corporate Relationship Manager for the Commercial Banking Government segment.In this role, you will:Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross-functional with broad impact and act as key participant in large-scale planning for Mid-Corporate Relationship ManagementMaintain client relationship on business strategy and development of comprehensive financial solutionsAdvise clients on business strategy and supporting capital structure alternativesReview and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term business, operational, or technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factorsAttract and expand mid-corporate banking relationships in Commercial BankingMake decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring strong understanding of the function, policies, procedures and compliance requirements that influence and lead Mid-Corporate Relationship Management to meet deliverables and drive new initiativesLead the development and maintenance of a focused target market comprised of strategic relationships and actionable opportunities within the assigned divisionStrategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid to high level managers to resolve issues and achieve deliverablesLead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentorRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Mid-Corporate Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Strong knowledge and understanding of commercial or specialty group: lending, loan servicing, products, and credit practicesPartner with Wells Fargo subject matter experts to fully understand the customers’ business, goals, strategies and challengesHigh ability to collaborate with product partners and leverage Wells Fargo subject matter experts5+ years of account relationship experience working with government clients and understanding their procurement processKnowledge of municipal credit structures and understanding of risk managementComprehensive knowledge and understanding of negotiating: interest rates, price, terms, and collateral requirementStrong leadership of relationship coverage and deal teams including, Credit and Risk Management, Debt Capital Markets, other product partners and Executive ManagementIndependently leading the most complex transactions to successful conclusion with little to no supervision.
