Position Summary
The HHG Coordinator works daily with our Household Goods Division, our drivers, and customers to achieve exceptional results. Primary areas of responsibility include:
• Assist supervisor in daily operations including driver efficiency, accurate and thorough maintenance records, all while achieving customer satisfaction.
• Administrative duties that will include but are not limited to the following: data entry, filing, and copying to working with spreadsheets and providing information for the Departments.

Essential Functions & Major Accountabilities
• Assist in daily coordination of local drivers while ensuring accuracy, and excellent customer service.
• Assist customers or operations with questions or concerns. This includes resolution of customer delivery issues in a courteous, professional and timely manner.
• Ensure all dispatched assignments are completed as planned.
• Internal / External Communication with customers and clients.
• Serve as back-up for scheduling as needed.
• Oversee and/or operate computerized routing system.
• Assist Operations Leaders with administrative duties, including processing invoices and overseeing billing responsibilities for our Household Goods Division.
• Retrieving data, working with spreadsheets or software specific to the business, and compiling information together for the Department
• CDL holders will assist with meeting customer requirements as needed

Requirements – Knowledge, Skills & Accountabilities
• Successful candidate will be highly motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team.
• Full knowledge of DOT regulations
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must have efficient data entry skills ensuring record accuracy.
• Meet work standards by following productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; and identifying process improvements.
• Demonstrate ability to effectively multi-task, particularly during peak season when high volume exists.
• Must be an analytical minded individual with attention to detail.
• Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership to drive projects to completion.
• Excellent professional communication and demeanor required.

Education/Experience Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree is preferential.
• Preferred candidate will have prior industry experience (trucking, warehousing, logistics, pricing, scheduling, routing, load board experience, filling backhauls and load planning)
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow through skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and results-oriented environment, and be flexible/adaptable to change.
• Highly motivated with ability to learn quickly.
• Excellent computer skills essential for success in this role. Must have advanced knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office products. Â
