Full Job Description We are seeking individuals who love to work outdoors; are not afraid of hard, physical labor; and are willing to learn new skills.
Responsibilities for this position include:
• Dragging brush and feeding it through the chipper
• Using a chainsaw to cut wood and brush
• Loading heavy wood onto trucks and trailers
• Assisting in rigging branches and large wood from trees
• Utilizing other equipment, such as a Dingo, to facilitate the job
• Clean up the job site at the end of the job (i.e., raking and removing debris generated from the job)
Previous experience in tree service, logging, landscaping, or a similar field is required. Experience in safely using a chainsaw is also required.
No minimum education requirement.
Things that are preferred, but not required, include:
• Ability to drive (and extensive experience with) a manual transmission, including larger trucks (i.e., bucket trucks)
• A CDL
• Experience with rigging
• Previous tree climbing experience
A valid driver's license is required, as well as reliable transportation.
