Candidates must have an appropriate terminal degree (e.g. PhD or JD) or Master's degree appropriate for the position; candidates without a terminal degree must document exceptional accomplishments in related business and leadership positions and must be approved for a terminal degree exception before hire.
Position Summary
The Institute for Leadership Advancement in the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia seeks qualified applicants for the Director of Institute for Leadership Advancement, with an expected start date of August 1, 2023.
The Director will lead and represent the Institute for Leadership Advancement (ILA), with primary responsibility for the Leonard Leadership Scholars and Fellows Programs as well as overseeing other ILA programing. The Director will also oversee all academic programs, operational, logistical, and external aspects of ILA, including managing personnel and budgets; serve as the main interface between students, faculty, staff, alumni, the Terry College, the University of Georgia, and the business community to assure high-quality programs and rewarding learning environments; and teach courses in the programs. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
This is a non-tenure track, faculty position at the rank of Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, or Principal Lecturer.
Internal applicants may be eligible to retain rank on appointment.
