This position is responsible for inventory balancing across DC systems ensuring inventory stock levels are accurate and in-sync.  The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for ensuring inventory targets are met and delivering KPI reporting in a timely manner. The inventory supervisor will also be responsible for managing exceptions processing, including inventory resolution and inventory optimization processes. The Inventory Supervisor will partner with leaders from other departments to ensure compliance of established inventory controls and their respective standard operating procedures.How you Will Make a Difference:Ensure inventory accuracy and cycle count accuracy target is achievedReduce lost warehouse inventory through process improvementOwn monthly system reconciliation with WMS, SAP, WCS to achieve inventory balancing targetsManage inventory locations and inventory SKUs to optimize waving, processing, and location utilizationManage exceptions processing and resolution within operationsManage cycle counting, defragmentation, and returns sortation processesSupport Inventory availability based on Customer Service needsProcess order cancellations requestsSupport completion of Daily/Weekly/Monthly KPI ReportingSet clear and measurable goals for all associates on a daily, monthly, and yearly basisCreate and analyze labor management and operational reports to ensure throughput goals are being metEnsure staffing levels are appropriate for all aspects of the daily and monthly workflowLead and coach associates to ensure outstanding service to internal and external customersEstablish workload priorities and provides clear daily objectives for the area under supervision.Ensure fiscal responsibility targets are met including budgets, forecasts, cost control, and reporting as it relates to labor planning and suppliesManage administrative tasks including associate record keeping and relevant reporting responsibilitiesParticipate in administrative responsibilitiesAdvocates and actively participates in continuous improvement cultureEstablish and cultivate a positive work environment with focus on associate engagement and development, encouraging team member participation in workplace activities and eventsSupport team member training and development in collaboration with DC trainersEngage in positive communication with cross-functional teams and partnersManage team member concerns: reporting, follow up, investigating, disciplinary processEnsure full compliance with VF policies and proceduresEnsure the DC is always ‘tour ready’Promote a strong safety culture - ensure training and compliance of all VF Safety policies and proceduresJob Requirements:Years of Related Professional Experience: 2+Educational/Position Requirements:A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of equivalent warehouse experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.Skills:Ability to lead, coach, and develop staff to improve performance and achieve objectivesProficient in core computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)Ability to balance and prioritize competing demandsAbility to interact with all levels of management with confidence and respectStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with minimal supervisionExperience and proficiency with WMS (PkMS) or other comparable WMS, RF and MHE technologies.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in EnglishSpecial Physical and/or Mental Requirements:Ability to be cooperative, flexible, and willing to work extended hours as necessaryBend lift, open, and move productAbility to develop tools and data for future planning and analysisWarehouse environment: Must be physically capable of working in conditions normally associated with a merchandise warehouse or distribution center, such as, but not limited to, warm and cold temperatures, seeing and hearing moving equipment to stay out of harm’s way, and continuous power equipment noise.What’s in it For You We’re in the business of unleashing human potential, driven by the ideas, energy and commitment of our people.
