Description:
• Assist plant extractions.
• Document experimental results in lab notebooks and by electronic means and disseminate to superiors.
• Assist as needed with general field duties including; seeding, watering, harvesting, inoculations, field maintenance, etc.
• Maintain laboratory including; glassware cleaning, record keeping, and general organization.
Skills & Qualifications:
• B.S. or B.A. in Biology, Chemistry, or relevant scientific discipline or Associate’s degree plus 2 years lab experience.
• Experience with general microbiological techniques; plating, streaking, subculturing, and sterile technique desired.
• Ability to effectively communicate using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is necessary.
