Responsibilities
The Patient Care Assistant is responsible for providing nursing care to patients under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse. Incumbents perform routine direct patient care activities following established policies and procedures in a manner conducive to the safety and comfort of the patient.
Qualifications
Education Requirements • High School Diploma - OR - GED - OR - Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education
Experience • No Experience
Certification and Licensure • BLS Certification
• If hired for the Transitional Sub-Acute Unit (TSU) at Reading Health Rehabilitation Hospital (RHRH), PA Nurse Aide Certification
Required Skills • Excellent Communications Skills
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills
