Full Job Description
Position Summary:
Responsible for assembling, repairing, or installing oil field wells and tank batteries involving power and hand tools and heavy equipment, as well as maintaining pumping units, production flow lines, cleanup spills, and various pieces of production equipment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to the following):
• Complete production and injection of well operations, including routine maintenance of equipment and maintenance of all locations to CountryMark standards.
• Maintain safe, efficient, and environmentally sound equipment, facilities, and water operations.
• Walk flow lines to locate leaks making visual inspections.
• Move pipes to and from trucks using winch trucks and motorized lifts, or by assistance from team members.
• Responsible for knowing other oil field occupations and filling vacancies in these classifications as needed.
• Capable of working without direct supervision, practicing good housekeeping and safety in all aspects of the job.
• Operate heavy duty trucks, machinery, and equipment including company vehicles as required.
• Cut down and remove trees and brush to clear well and tank battery sites to reduce hazards and to make way for roads to the sites.
• Dismantle and repair oil field machinery, engines, and engine parts using hand and power tools.
• Provide general yard maintenance of ground and buildings including proper facilitation of oil spills.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Field Supervisor.
Job Qualifications (refers to job, not incumbent):
Education: Minimum: High School Diploma
Experience: Preferred: 1 year of oil field operations experience
Other:
• Ability to travel to work site locations within the CountryMark Operations area.
• Actively promote and practice safety by adhering to all safe work policies and procedures.
• Must be able to accommodate extended hours/overtime as needed.
• Ability to travel as required for meetings, trainings, seminars, etc.
• Ability to work well independently and in team settings with occasional direct supervision.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of management and internal/external clients.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Provide oral and written communication of activities to appropriate personnel.
• Must have good time management skills and be able to handle multiple tasks at same time.
